Ftelia Beach

We recommend visiting the picturesque town of Skopelos, the church of Agios Ioannis and the beach of Kastani known from the movie 'Mamma Mia!', the taverns in Agnondas, the Pirate Graveyard in Sendoukia or the monastery of Agia Varvara.

The best time to visit Greece and the Greek islands is from June to September.

If you want to explore the whole island of Skopelos, we recommend spending at least 1 week here.

There are two ways to get to Skopelos island. By plane and then ferry via Skiathos Island, or by ferry from the mainland port of Volos.

The most famous beaches of Skopelos include Agios Ioannis, Agnondas, Glisteri, Ftelia, Gabris, Chovolo, Kastani, Limnonari, Panormos, Spilia, Velanio and Stafilos.

Don't hesitate to visit any tavern serving traditional Greek cuisine. You can find them in towns, villages, and even on beaches. If you like fresh fish, look for fish taverns in the harbors.
