DELOS

You will probably have little time for sightseeing, so don't linger too long anywhere. We recommend seeing the Terrace of the Lions, the sacred lake, the museum, the theater district, the theater, and, if you have time, the view from Mount Kynthos.

Don't forget!! You must have your passport with you!! EU citizens only need their ID card to enter.

The best time to visit Delos is from June to September.

If you sail to Delos by boat from Mykonos, you will usually have about two hours to explore. However, you can easily spend 30 minutes of that time at the ticket office. If you want to walk around the site, visit the museum, and climb to the top of Kynthos in the remaining time, you will almost certainly not make it.

The only way to get to Delos is by boat from Mykonos. The trip takes about 40 minutes, and the boat usually leaves at 10:00 a.m. from the pier next to the church of Agios Nikolaos in the old harbor.
